JPCS maintain the highways and byways of the UK, working with local authorities and maintenance contractors to save and strengthen tarmac using their unique Rejuvo® range. Working with Investors in People for the last two decades, they have shared their story in a new case study.
Based in Hampton Heath, Cheshire with a team of over 40 employees, the company was one of the first organisations in their industry to become Investors in People in the mid 1990s.
Working with the Standard for the last 20 years, JPCS have used IIP to support their growth and as a way to develop their culture and structure.
“IIP has framed our activities for the last 20 years, pushing us to achieve excellence and how we involve our people to get there” explains Director, Peter Shone.
“For example, our latest assessment feedback recognised our approach to learning and development, communication and performance management and how this has helped us to address business challenges such as diversification into the rail sector.”
Investors in People has also helped the business to adopt an approach of continuous improvement, helping them to embed an inclusive culture focused on their people values. This has seen the business grow three fold over the last two decades.
