Investors in People Silver for The Housing Link (2003)
Congratulations to The Housing Link (2003) in Bury on achieving Investors in People Silver!
The Housing Link was first set up 1983 as a response to the increase in homeless young people at the time. Originally known as Bury Young People’s Housing Link, the organisation now offers 56 bed spaces from a range of properties including a 24 hour hostel, shared houses and single person self-contained flats and bedsits.
The Housing Link first achieved Investors in People in 1999 and has continued to invest and develop in their people as the organisation has grown. For their latest assessment, the organisation decided to go for Investors in People Silver.
As Director Graham Evans explains:
“In 2013 we made a decision to stretch ourselves and go for Investors in People Silver Standard and were delighted to achieve it.
“Given the difficult times we have faced in the last few years with significant reductions in our funding, we feel this is an exceptional achievement and a testament to the dedication of the staff, the Trustees and our service users.”
Congratulations to all the team!
