A Winter Wonderland of Winners! Investors in People Celebrations at the IIP Awards 2017
Investors in People from across the world enjoy a sparkling night of celebration, with IIP North of England organisations scooping top awards!
The historic Old Billingsgate Market in London was transformed into a winter wonderland last night as Investors in People from across the globe came together for the IIP Awards 2017.
The fourth annual ceremony, the IIP Awards celebrate the best people management practices amongst the Investors in People community - recognising the people and teams that make the difference every day.
With hundreds of entries received from around the world for the 26 categories, it was fantastic to see so many organisations get involved – over 40 organisations from the North of England were invited as finalists and of these we saw two winners!
A massive congratulations to all of our finalists and winners. Award winners from IIP North included:
- Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council - Excellence in Leadership and Management (500+)
- Xiros Ltd - Excellence in Social Responsibility (2-499)
On the night itself, shortlisted organisations were treated to a stunning meal and champagne reception all in a beautiful wintery theme with comedian Rob Beckett as host – check out photos from the night via the Investors in People facebook gallery here.
